U.S.A - Changes to import and custom charges
UPDATE
Please note that recent changes to the De Minimis Exemption mean that orders of any value may now be subject to import tariffs, customs duties, or handling fees on arrival.
- While we understand that recorded music products (including vinyl and CDs) are currently considered tariff-free, this process is still at an early stage and we cannot guarantee that these items will remain exempt.
- These charges are set by U.S. Customs and collected by the delivery courier before or at the time of delivery.
- The amount due depends on the value and type of products in your order.
- Unfortunately, we have no control over these fees and cannot predict the exact costs in advance.
PLEASE READ
All local import duties, tariffs, taxes, and handling charges remain the customer’s responsibility to pay. If you refuse to pay and the parcel is returned, shipping costs will not be refunded.
You will receive an email from Exelot regarding any outstanding customs charges due to pay - this will be sent on behalf of our shipping partner The Packsmart Group.
You will be given 5 days to pay the duties charge, if your order is returned to us due to unpaid duties we will only be able to refund the cost of the goods.
